I haven't forgotten about the Taiwan travel journal. I just haven't had the time or the inclination to write it up. But here are some photos from the Lake Shikotsu Hyoto festival. It's a bunch of ice...sculptures? buildings? that are really pretty cool. And quite cold. We went last night and it was nice because there were very few people, unlike Saturday when we attempted to go, but gave up because the traffic jam just wasn't moving.
